how do I rent from nest?
You will need to open an account, but it’s easy!
First, choose the account type below that applies to your production:
- NET 30 ACCOUNT — Qualified Commercial, Television and Motion Picture Feature productions may apply for a NET 30 ACCOUNT. Net 30 terms are the only extended payment terms offered. - COD ACCOUNT — Commercial, Television, and Motion Picture Feature Productions who would prefer to pay via Credit Card; Photo Shoots, Webisodes, Promos and Short Term productions; or any Production Type that does not seek or qualify for Net 30 terms, may open a GENERAL COD ACCOUNT. ALL productions must also provide a valid CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE for each job.

Please note: We provide SET DRESSING to the entertainment industry TRADE ONLY. We are not open to the general public. We are unable to rent set dressing/props for parties/special events.
how do I view nest’s set dressing inventory?
The best way to view all of our available inventory is to visit our showroom. This also enables us to serve you better! No appointment is necessary for art department professionals. We are open for shopping Monday through Friday, from 8am to 6pm. For additional HOURS & LOCATION information, please click HERE.
When you visit, a member of our sales team will be happy to assist you in locating appropriate pieces and in determining their availability for your project. They can also assist you in placing items on “hold for approval,” confirming an order, generating an Order Estimate and scheduling your pick up.

We will do our best to email photos of what’s available to you as quickly as possible. Please keep in mind, however, that art department professionals on the physical premises always take precedence, so our response to your request may not be immediate.
Our inventory may not be viewed/searched online via the website at this time.
can I get help after-hours?
Sometimes “things happen.” Perhaps you did not receive an item you believe you should have; perhaps you meant to confirm an item, but forgot; or, perhaps, the script has changed on a Saturday and you shoot on Sunday. When an “emergency” arises, we will try to help remedy your situation whenever we are able to do so.
Because our phone lines are unattended after hours, for the quickest response, please find the emergency email HERE.
Please note that, despite our desire to do so, employee availability may prevent us from providing assistance within the time frame needed, or may necessitate an additional fee, depending upon the circumstances. Further, we ask that you use this email for “emergency” situations only – those in which you physically require a prop before we are next open for business at 8:00 am Monday through Friday. Thank you for your understanding.
MINIMUM RENTAL PERIOD and GRACE DAY?

Nest offers a 3% discount for payment by CASH or CHECK which is automatically reflected in the initial ORDER ESTIMATE you receive. For more information about acceptable payment types and policies, please use the RENTAL REQUIREMENTS links above for your particular account type.
Nest offers discounted rates for LONG TERM PRODUCTION RENTALS. For more information about these, please refer to Paragraph 3 of our RENTAL TERMS & CONDITIONS, which you may view/download by clicking HERE.
Nest offers discounted rates for PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENTS for those organizations that are designated by the IRS as 501(c)(3) organizations.

JOB CLOSE-OUTS & RENTAL RETURNS?
All returned orders are checked-in in the order in which they are received. Every effort is made to do so as quickly as possible and, in any event, within 48 hours of return, excluding weekends.
When check-in is complete, we will attempt to contact a representative of your Production to let them know if any items were returned damaged or are missing, if we received items that are not ours, or if there are any outstanding payment issues. It is the responsibility of your Production, however, to contact our ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT to confirm the closing of your show, and to resolve any outstanding loss, damage or billing issues.
The easiest way to do so is to REQUEST YOUR FINAL INVOICE by clicking HERE. Fill out the form completely and click SUBMIT. We will then contact you with any issues when your check-in is complete or send your final invoice via return email – no additional phone call is necessary.
LOSS or DAMAGE?
We understand that “things happen,” and are committed to working with our productions to minimize L&D costs whenever possible. If loss of or damage to an item occurs in transit or on set, please contact us with the item’s barcode number immediately. We will assist you to find a substitute, if needed. Doing so also allows us to begin sourcing repair parts or replacements right away and may result in lower L&D costs and faster check-in. Additionally, please return all parts of damaged props to us, even if the item appears to be completely destroyed.
We are authorized to grant permission, at our discretion, to allow the filming of our ARTWORK and a LIMITED number of our other items when used as set dressing. However, this grant is not automatic and must be secured in a separate document signed by our authorized representative.
For COMMERCIAL Productions, a standardized, signed document will automatically be provided with your Order.
For FEATURE FILM and TELEVISION Productions, please submit your appropriately worded document for review and signature prior to your pick up date to email@example.com.
While we will always try to assist you with questions concerning items for which we are unable to grant permission, please note that THE RESPONSIBILITY TO DETERMINE IF COPYRIGHT CLEARANCE ON ANY ITEM(S) IS NECESSARY OR POSSIBLE, AND TO SECURE THAT COPYRIGHT CLEARANCE FROM THE COPYRIGHT HOLDER OR AN AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE BEFORE/AFTER YOUR SHOOT, LIES ENTIRELY WITH YOUR PRODUCTION.
